After having fun taking photos of Grace on Friday night, I decided I would take some sunrise photos early Saturday morning. As soon as she woke up, we got dressed and headed out the the Font Hill Museum. It was beautiful. There was still fog on the ground and the sun coming through created some really neat sun rays.

It was about this time that I noticed her hands were swollen - like completely swollen and you couldn't see her knuckles anymore. I immediately rushed home and by the time we got there her both her hands and feet were red, blotchy, swollen and looking so uncomfortable. We talked to her doctor, who recommended Benadryl. Its most likely she had an allergic reaction to freshly cut grass - although its impossible to know exactly what might have caused it. She's doing fine, the Benadryl started working quickly and the swelling went away. It was still a little scary, I can't even imagine if it had been a real emergency. I guess we won't be having any early morning sessions again soon!

Hi,
Great pics of Grace, and glad to hear she's ok.
Mom
These pictures are phenomenal! Exactly what we discussed - a piece of Art that just happens to have your child in it. BEAUTIFUL!

Loving the 2nd shot! Glad to hear the scare didn't turn out to be anything more serious!
The sunrays are spectacular! Love it in color on the second one! So glad that Benedryl did the job!
