I know this may seem like an odd "must have", considering I shoot digital 99% of the time. But I have a soft spot in my heart for film. I love the look of it, I love developing it, and printing it. So why don't I do it anymore? I don't have the time to devote to develop and print myself. Shooting some film is on my 101 List, and maybe I will have to make a point of doing it this weekend!
My favorite black and white films are those with higher ISOs or speeds. This results in increased grain, but I just love it. My two favorite films are Fuji Neopan 1600 and Kodak Delta 3200. They are perfect for weddings, maternity and of course, kids.
Here's my nephew, a few years ago shot with Fuji Neopan 1600 - the grain is oh so yummy!
